Spooky Season 🎃
It may be August 12th, but we know in the world of ecommerce, you have to jump ahead at least two months to start promoting your products.
With that being said, Halloween is an underrated Holiday so there is a huge market for Halloween lovers (such as myself).
However, the crowd that loves Halloween responds to a message very differently than a crowd that loves Christmas.
The creativeness of your product photography needs to not only have the theme of Halloween but the story of Halloween.
If you are the dark and moody type, some of the following can be great examples of how high resolution photos!
The Halloween theme can create a story and captivation for your audience members that keeps them from scrolling, which gives them time to invest more into your product.
I always tell my clients to make sure their photos lead somewhere, whether it is to your own website or another social media post to ensure they can go somewhere to research your products more.
Here are three tips for your social media posts:
▪️ Don’t describe the photo - describe your vision that inspired the photo
You want your audience to interpret the photo in their own way, just explain to them what the product does to enhance their life. When photographing, having someone help you can give you a new perspective.
◻️ Replace photos on different platforms
Don’t be afraid to reuse the same photos, but discuss a finer detail of your product in the photo to increase understanding of the product.
Different angles of the same photo, can captive a different perspective.
🔲 Simple is Better
Don’t over explain, don’t create new stories. Just keep explaining what your product does and how it makes life better.
